The training and placement cell is endowed with the responsibility to cater to the needs of training and placement of its elite students. Key Responsibilities and Activities of Placement Cell:

• The T&P Cell is endowed with the responsibility to address the training and placement requirements of students, ensuring they are equipped with industry-relevant skills.
• The cell handles all aspects of the placement and internship process, from inviting companies to final offer distribution.
• It organises PPTs, group discussions, interviews, and other corporate interactions.
• It arranges training programs, workshops and sessions to groom students with all the required and essential skills.
• The cell maintains records of placement statistics, brochures, and reports for transparency.

NIT Goa offers various scholarships and financial assistance to support students, particularly to those from reserved categories, minority students and economically weaker sections. These include government schemes, institute-level fee remissions, and external/private scholarships.
