To get admission in NIT Raipur, students need to fulfil some eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

B.Tech / B.Arch (4/5 years) - Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for B.Tech) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics + valid NATA score (for B.Arch). Minimum 75% aggregate marks in 10+2 (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top 20 percentile in respective board. Must qualify for JEE Main.
M.Tech (2 years) - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Valid GATE score in the relevant discipline.
MCA (2 years) - Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 or graduation level with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Valid NIMCET score.
M.Sc. (2 years) - Bachelor’s degree in relevant science subject with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Valid IIT JAM score.
Ph.D. - Master’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Valid GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/JRF or institute entrance test + interview.
