National Law University of Law Admission Process
Admissions to NALSAR are conducted through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) followed by centralised counselling conducted by the Consortium of NLUs. The process is fully online and merit-based.
Eligibility Criteria:
B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.): 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/PwD). No upper age limit.
LL.M.: LL.B. or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
Step-by-Step Admission Process
Register and apply for CLAT on the Consortium of NLUs portal.
Appear for the CLAT UG (for integrated programmes) or CLAT PG (for LL.M.).
Check CLAT results and All India Rank (AIR).
Participate in centralised counselling and fill preferences for NLUs including NALSAR.
Receive seat allotment based on rank, category, and preference order.
Pay the admission fee and upload/verify documents.
Complete formalities and join the programme as per the academic calendar.
