Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology- NIET Greater Noida Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

NIET (Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology), Greater Noida admission process generally begins with submitting the online application and meeting the eligibility requirements of the selected programme.

NIET Noida B.Tech admissions for 85% of the seats are based on allotments in exams like JEE Mains, followed by counselling conducted by AKTU, Lucknow.

Entrance examination: Admissions for PG Programs are based on the results of CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET, CMAT or ATMA exams.

Admission Process at NIET 2027:

• Admission at NIET is conducted through a common merit-based process.
• Students need to appear for the respective entrance examinations, such as JEE Main for B.Tech, CUET for UG programs, GATE/CAT/MAT for PG programs.
• After the entrance exam, candidates must register for UPTAC counselling conducted by AKTU.
• Seats are allotted based on rank, preference, and availability.
• Document verification and fee payment are done at the institute level.
• The institute also reserves 15% seats under Management Quota / Direct Admission for which students can apply directly to the college with valid academic records.
