OP Jindal Law School Sonipat Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

O.P. Jindal Global University’s Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is one of India’s leading private law schools located in Sonipat, Haryana. Admissions are merit-based and entrance-exam driven, with a strong focus on academic performance, aptitude tests, and holistic student evaluation. The selection process is designed to identify students with strong analytical ability, communication skills, and interest in legal studies. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• For undergraduate programmes such as BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), BA (Hons.) Legal Studies, and B.Com LLB (Hons), students must have completed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board such as CBSE, ISC, IB, Cambridge, or other international boards. A minimum of around 45% to 60% aggregate marks in Class 12 is generally required depending on the programme, with no strict stream restriction, meaning students from Arts, commerce, or science backgrounds are eligible. 

• For postgraduate programmes such as LLM, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% to 55% aggregate marks depending on the specialisation.

Entrance Exams Accepted: JSAT, LSAT-India, CLAT, SAT, ACT, CUET
Admission Process:

• Apply online through the official O.P. Jindal Global University admission portal by selecting the desired program and filling in personal and academic details

• Upload required documents such as Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, identity proof, photograph, and other supporting certificates

• Pay the application fee to complete and submit the application form

• Appear for the accepted entrance test, such as LSAT–India or JSAT Law, or submit valid scores if already available

• Wait for shortlisting based on entrance exam performance and academic records

• Submit additional requirements such as Statement of Purpose, personal essay, or written responses if requested by the university

• Attend personal interview if shortlisted for further evaluation (may be conducted online or offline depending on admission cycle)

• Final selection is made based on overall profile evaluation, including entrance score, academics, SOP, and interview performance

• Receive provisional admission offer letter from the university

• Confirm admission by paying the required fee and completing document verification to secure the seat
