Admission Process and Eligibility Criteria for MBBS at Rajashree Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Government Medical College (RCSM GMC), Kolhapur for 2026:

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for MBBS admission at RCSM GMC Kolhapur, candidates must fulfill the following:

• Must have completed 10+2 (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.

• Minimum aggregate marks in PCB General Category 50% OBC/EWS: 45% and SC/ST: 40%

• Must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December 2026.

• Must have qualified NEET-UG 2026 with the required minimum percentile (as per NMC guidelines).

Admission Process

Admission to MBBS (150 seats) at RCSM GMC Kolhapur is purely based on NEET-UG 2026 score and follows a centralized counselling process:

1. Appear and Qualify NEET-UG 2026 – It is mandatory.

2. Register for Counselling

3. All India Quota (15%) → Through Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)

4. Maharashtra State Quota (85%) → Through Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell)

5. Choice Filling & Seat Allotment – Fill preferences for colleges.

6. Document Verification – At designated centres.

7. Seat Allotment – Based on NEET rank, category, and availability.

8. Reporting to College – Pay fees and complete admission formalities.
