RCM prepares students for placements and family business from the day they set foot in here. The PRP session consists of 162 sessions, which start with i-reflection, identifying students' core strengths, building fluency and articulation in Business English, group Discussion, Psychometric Test, Aptitude Preparation, dream Job, Goal setting, Mock Interviews and more. The PRP modules help craft students' career paths as per their strengths.

The students are also made to learn and practice Aptitude questions and answers with explanations for the interviews and entrance tests during the mock sessions. Group Discussions are also done to test their communication skills so that they put their best foot forward during the placement time. For the same reason, mock GDs are a part of the pre-placement readiness program of RCM, so that students can deliver their best during the placement session. 

Apart from live/field projects, case study-based discussions, RCM also organises regular Industrial visits, as these visits have their own importance in the career of management students to enhance their core competencies and practical knowledge. This year, students visited Coke, Anmol Biscuits, IMFA, and Force Motors to understand the practical implications of theories taught in the class. Psychometric tests and inbound & outbound training sessions further help students scale and chart their growth journey.

Regional College of Management (RCM), Bhubaneswar, offers several merit-based and entrance exam-linked scholarships to support deserving students, particularly for its flagship programs like MBA+, PGDM+, MCA+, BBA+, and BCA+. These are primarily tuition fee waivers or direct financial aid, often tied to performance in entrance exams (especially OJEE for state quota seats), academic merit, or early admissions. Scholarships are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served or rank basis.

• OJEE scholarships- A scholarship for OJEE rank holders. Our “OJEE Rank Scholarship” provides a doorstep to a bright future enables respective waivers on tuition fee according to ranks held by the aspirants in the OJEE examination. 

• Merit scholarships- A merit-based scholarship for students who are academically meritorious. The college “Merit Scholarship” with a respective percentage of waiver on tuition fee encourages the students to pursue their higher education. The evaluation of a student’s merit despite interferences is completely based on their academic records or performance on a scholarship test. 

• Loyalty scholarships- All loyal and valued students of RCM, who choose to continue their academic path with us, transitioning from BBA & BCA to our Master's Program, are being offered a “loyalty scholarship”. The scholarship with a waiver of %30 on the tuition fees enables the flow of legacy by directing students to a better career path.

• Early Bird scholarships- First come First Serve being our sole strategy. The “Early Bird scholarship” provide opportunity to a limited number of aspirants who approach us at an early stage to get involved in our academic curriculum. A waiver of %20 is offered to the aspirant who seeks to take a step ahead in their bright future.
