SHUATS offers admissions to a wide range of diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.. Admissions are primarily conducted through two modes:
SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET) + Merit-based Counselling → for Agriculture, Pharmacy, and many other professional programs.
Open Online Counselling / Merit-based → for several other UG/PG programs (no entrance test required).
The process is fully online, transparent, and merit-oriented. The university conducts the SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET) multiple times a year, making it convenient for applicants.
For Undergraduate Programs:
Completion of 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Minimum marks: Generally 50% to 60% aggregate.
Subject requirements: PCM/PCB/PCMB or Agriculture as per the specific program.
For Postgraduate Programs:
Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 50–60% marks.
Some programs may require relevant work experience or specific subject background.
Admission process:
Visit the official website shuats.edu.in and fill the Single Common Online Application Form.
Pay the application fee online.
Choose your admission mode – SOET (Entrance Test) for Agriculture, B.Tech, Pharmacy etc. or Direct/Open Counselling for other courses.
If you choose SOET, appear for the online entrance test at your convenient date and time.
Check the result and merit list on the university website.
Participate in counselling (online or offline) and select your preferred course.
Upload or submit required documents for verification.
Pay the admission fee to confirm your seat.
Download the provisional admission letter and report to the campus for final registration and orientation.
