There is a Placement Cell at SIVET College that plays a key role in locating job opportunities for UG and PG students by facilitating campus recruitment drives, training programs, and industry interactions. The placement cell also has a career guidance facility which guides and counsels the students to acquire employable skills to get placed at Government & Private Sectors. They also aim at creating awareness about the importance of higher studies in India and abroad.  The Placement Cell plays a key role in locating job opportunities for both UG and PG students. On average, 30% of students are placed even before they complete their graduation programme.

Many leading and reputed companies, such as IDBI, Times of India, HDB, Sundram Finance, TCS, Accenture, Sutherland Global Service, Vertex, Axis Bank, HDFC, Stallions Service, Think SYNQ Solutions, Sysmedac Technologies, Nittany Creative Service, Blue Chip visit the college on a regular basis to recruit our students.

The Placement cell also makes arrangement in conducting training programmes in collaboration with various companies and sponsoring agents to enable our students to develop various employable skill sets. The Cell organises Workshops and Seminars on Personality Development, Interview Skills, and Communication Skills on a routine basis for all around development of individuals. The Cell also organises various Guidelines and motivational programmes to enhance our students’ personality. The Cell organises coaching classes for competitive exams such as TNPSC, SSC, CHL, and CGL. The Cell conducts Orientation Programmes for freshers.

SIVET College offers many scholarship programmes to support meritorious, economically disadvantaged, reserved category, and minority students. Scholarships are given with the aim to encourage deserving students who can not continue study die to financial constraints. 

These scholarship includes specific endowments, merit-based aids, and government schemes facilitated through portals like the Tamil Nadu e-district or the national NSP.
