Sri Aurobindo College New Delhi Admission Process

Undergraduate Admission: Admissions are done only through CUET-UG as per Delhi University rules. Eligibility Criteria is B.A. Programme / B.A. (Hons), they must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. Must appear for CUET-UG in relevant subject combinations. For B.Com & B.Com (Hons), they must have passed 10+2 with any stream.
 

Documents required are Class 10 & 12 Marksheet, CUET-UG Scorecard, Transfer Certificate, Caste / Category Certificate, EWS Certificate, Migration Certificate (for non-CBSE boards), and Passport-size photographs

 

  • Online application form- 
    Step 1: Register for CUET-UG- Visit NTA CUET website, fill the form, choose relevant subjects, and submit application.
  • Step 2: Appear for CUET-UG Exam- Attend exam and obtain your CUET scorecard.
  • Step 3: Register on DU CSAS Portal- After CUET results, register on Delhi University CSAS Admission Portal.
  • Step 4: Fill College & Course Preferences- Choose Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) and select your preferred UG programmes.
  • Step 5: Seat Allocation- DU will allot seats based on your CUET score + category + preference.
  • Step 6: Upload Documents- Submit required documents (marksheets, certificates, ID, photos, etc.).

In 2025, out of 1008 UG students, 130 got placed. According to NIRF data, the median placement package for UG students is INR 2-6 LPA. College-Level Scholarships has a Students’ Aid Fund & Fee Concession Committee. They offer Maharshi Aurobindo Inclusive Scholarship: For underprivileged (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) students, Maharshi Aurobindo Merit Support Scholarship: For meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds. For the 2025–26 session, they are accepting applications for fee concession. 

 

Government / External Scholarships can apply for NSP (National Scholarship Portal) scholarships. For that, they need certain documents like Aadhar, income certificate, bank passbook, etc. Also E-District Scholarship is supported by the college — they help students with the verification/signature of forms. According to the IQAC report (2020–21), 4 students benefited from government scholarships/freeships that year. Good support for government scholarships (NSP, E-District). Institutional financial aid exists for economically weaker and minority students.
