St. Stephen's College has a dedicated placement cell, which is a student-run body and always strives to match the repute and merit that the college is distinguished for. The Campus Placement Cellof St. Stephen’s College is the sole body that is responsible for recruitments in the college. The college is also known for being the first UG institution in the country to have recruitment from firms such as The Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch, London. It was the first college in Delhi University to host an internship fair to provide students and companies a platform for mutual growth. 

The Internship Conclave is held to invite firms to hire summer interns. Companies like Deutsche Bank, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Standard Chartered, Citibank, Ernst & Young, and E&H Foundation are some of the companies that hired Summer Interns from St. Stephen’s College in the past. Placements at this college are strong for a non-professional/liberall arts college. The placement cell also organises Pre-Placement/Internship Talks, CV Submission, Management of Tests, Group Discussions, and Interviews associated with the placements and internships.

The highest package offered in Placements 2024 was INR 20 LPA and the average base pay package was INR 9.3 LPA. The top 4 roles offered to them are of Associate, Business Analyst, Investment Banking, Associate Consultant, Analyst, etc.
