Who Should Apply: CTET 2026 Eligibility Overview

  • CTET is mandatory for candidates who wish to teach in central / government-affiliated schools (Classes I–VIII). If eligible for both levels, you can apply for both papers.
  • The exam offers two papers: Paper I — For teaching Classes I to V and Paper II — For teaching Classes VI to VIII.
