The SLS has a Career Development Cell that handles all the career-related activities such as placements, skill training, internships, resume building, mock interviews, career counselling, and industry interactions. SLS graduates will have multiple career options. While it is expected that some students may opt for postgraduate courses after graduating from SLS, others will pursue entrepreneurial ventures, and the rest can expect a professional career in various fields. Its Career Development Cell operates at the University level and supports SLS students alongside other schools. 

Its key activities include:

• Training Programs, workshops, seminars, aptitude tests, and group discussions. Training is given for mock interviews, soft skill development, resume building and personality enhancement sessions.
• It curates mandatory structured Internship opportunities for practical exposure, and organises hands-on experience in relevant fields like policy, media, business, and consulting.
• It facilitates on-campus and off-campus placement drives, does job profiling, schedules interviews, and makes announcements. It also prepares a mock exam based on the employability training.
• It organises expert talks, guest lectures, industry visits, profiling/assessment, career planning guidance, and more.
