Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026, or are appearing in 2027, are eligible.
- There is no upper age limit.
- For B.E./B.Tech (Paper 1): Physics and Mathematics are compulsory, along with one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.
- For B.Arch (Paper 2A): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are compulsory.
- For B.Planning (Paper 2B): Mathematics is compulsory.
- Candidates can appear in a maximum of three consecutive years from the year of passing Class 12.

Steps to Apply for JEE Main 2027
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Registration link (once activated).
- Complete the basic registration using name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID and Aadhaar/identity details to generate Application Number and Password.
- Log in and fill the detailed application form (personal, academic, communication and exam city preferences).
- Upload scanned photograph, signature and category certificate (if applicable) as per the prescribed specifications.
- Pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card or UPI.
- Download and save the Confirmation Page for future reference.
