JEE Mains Result 2026 Released @ jeemain.nta.nic.in: NTA Score, Scorecard Link, Cutoff & Toppers Live Updates

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result has been officially declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 16, 2026. The NTA scores (percentiles) and scorecards are now live for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) on the official website.

 

Key Highlights

  • Result Declaration Date: February 16, 2026 (final answer keys also released alongside).
  • Exam Details: Session 1 conducted from January 21 to January 29, 2026 (multiple shifts); around 3,55,293 registered, 3,04,653 appeared.

Cutoff (Qualifying Percentile for JEE Advanced Eligibility - Expected/Trends): Official category-wise qualifying cutoffs will be released after Session 2 (April 2026). Based on trends and analysis:

  • General (UR): 93-95 percentile
  • EWS: 80-82 percentile
  • OBC-NCL:  79-81 percentile
  • SC: 61-63 percentile
  • ST: 47.5-50 percentile
  • PwD: Lower (varies). These are estimates; actual depends on overall performance (often around 90+ for General in recent years).

 

How to Check/Download Scorecard

  1. Visit the official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ (or direct result portal: https://examinationservices.nic.in/ResultoService26/JE26S1P1/Login).
  2. Click on the live link: "Results for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-I] – Paper-I (B.E/B.Tech)" or "View Scorecard".
  3. Enter your Application Number and Password (or Date of Birth in some portals) + CAPTCHA.
  4. Submit to view your NTA score (percentile), sectional details, All India Rank (AIR if applicable), and other info.
  5. Download and print the scorecard PDF (valid for JoSAA counseling, NIT/IIIT/GFTI admissions, and JEE Advanced qualification).

The scorecard shows normalized NTA percentiles (not raw marks) across Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and total. No separate merit list; ranks are category/state/gender-wise too.

 

Next Steps

  • Session 2 Registration: Open now (for April attempt); appear to improve scores (best of two sessions counts for final rank).
  • JEE Advanced: Qualify via top ~2.5 lakh ranks (cutoff after both sessions).
  • Counseling: JoSAA for IITs/NITs/IIITs/GFTIs starts post-final results.
