SNAP Registration 2026 LIVE; SIU to Start Applications Soon at snaptest.org

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is set to open the SNAP 2026 registration process shortly on the official website snaptest.org. The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the mandatory computer-based entrance exam for admission to MBA and other postgraduate management programmes offered by the 17 constituent institutes of SIU for the academic year 2027-28.

According to the reports from several education portals till mid-August 2026, the notifications and application process is likely to commence anytime now, as has been seen following the same trend of commencement in the first half of August every year. The process of registration is expected to continue till about the third week or last week of November 2026 (around November 20). The candidates will be eligible to take the tests for up to three times, usually held during December 2026, and the best performance will be taken into consideration for short listing.

Eligibility and Fees

• Graduates from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) can apply. Final-year students are also eligible, provided they meet the criteria at the time of admission.
• The expected SNAP test fee remains INR 2,250 per attempt (plus applicable taxes).
• An additional programme registration fee of INR 1,000 applies for each SIU institute or programme selected.
• Candidates must complete both SNAP test registration and institute preference selection during the same window; later additions are not allowed.

How to Apply for SNAP 2026 – Step-by-Step Guide

Registration for SNAP 2026 is done only online on the official website snaptest.org. Follow these steps carefully:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

• Go to www.snaptest.org.
• Click on the “Apply Now” or “Register for SNAP 2026” button (it will appear once registration opens).

Step 2: Create a New Account / Register

• Click on “Register”.
• Read the terms and conditions and select the checkbox to accept them.
• Enter basic details:
  • Full Name (as per Class 10 marksheet)
  • Date of Birth
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • Nationality
• Verify your mobile number with the OTP sent to you.
• Set a password and complete the registration.
• You will receive a SNAP ID / login credentials on your email and mobile.

Step 3: Log In and Fill the Application Form

• Log in using your SNAP ID and password.
• Fill in the complete application form with:
  • Personal details (address, category, etc.)
  • Academic details (Class 10, 12, Graduation marks/percentage)
  • Preferred SNAP test cities
  • Number of attempts (you can choose 1, 2, or all 3 test dates)

Step 4: Upload Photograph

• Upload a recent passport-size colour photograph (as per the specified size and format – usually JPEG, less than 100 KB).

Step 5: Select Institutes / Programmes

• Choose the Symbiosis institutes and MBA programmes you want to apply for.
• You must select and pay for each programme separately (INR 1,000 per programme).

Step 6: Pay the Fees

• SNAP Test Fees: Rs. 2,250 per test (including tax)
• Programme Fees: Rs. 1,000 per institute/programme opted
• Fees may be paid through: Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / DD in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Step 7: Submit and Download Confirmation

• Review all details carefully (no changes are allowed after final submission).
• Submit the form.
• Download and take a printout of the confirmation page / payment receipt for future reference.

Important Tips

• Registration will begin soon (mid-August 2026), while closing will take place by mid/late November 2026.
• You may sit for up to three SNAP examinations in December 2026, and only your highest score will be considered.
