Goldsmiths University of London Placement Overview
At Goldsmiths, University of London, some of the courses offer a placement module as part of the curriculum. These are often in the second year of an undergraduate or part of a master’s degree and will typically last between 10 –16 days. These are often voluntary, as the experience is credit-bearing and forms part of your degree.
Goldsmiths research internships (GRIP):
- GRIP is a programme that gives undergraduates six weeks full-time experience working on an academic research project during the summer between their second and final year.
- Opportunities are available in a range of departments and you’ll have the chance to work alongside academic staff on innovative projects that really contribute to Goldsmiths research.
- The programme runs from the beginning of June to the end of July and working hours are 30 per week. Some start and finish dates may vary, check the individual opportunity for details. Most research projects take place on campus, there are some projects which include work at other sites local to Goldsmiths.
