Xiamen University Xiamen Admission 2026- Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

The admission process at Xiamen University is merit-based and online. Though students are required to fulfil some eligibility criteria and other guidelines as issued by the University. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Non-Chinese citizens, aged 18–25 by Sept 1 of intake year, physically and mentally healthy.

• Senior high school diploma with satisfactory PCB scores.

• English proficiency: TOEFL iBT 80+ or IELTS 6.0+ (exemptions apply).

• NEET is qualified for Indian students.

• Valid passport and other required documents.

Application Process:

1. Apply online via its official website. (Dec–May for self-funded).

2. Upload documents (passport, transcripts, NEET, English certificate, recommendation letter, personal statement, physical exam, etc.).

3. Pay registration fee (RMB 400).

4. Qualification review + academic evaluation (possible interview).

5. Receive the Admission Letter and JW202.

6. Apply for X1 visa and register in September.
