Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (AIMSR) offers admissions primarily to its flagship MBBS programme (5.5 years, including a 1-year compulsory internship) through the national-level entrance exam. The college has 150 MBBS seats.

Eligibility Criteria (for MBBS)

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognised board.

• Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for SC/ST candidates; 45% for OBC in some cases, as per NMC/NEET rules).

• Age Limit: Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year (no upper age limit as per current NEET guidelines).

• Qualifying Exam: Must qualify for NEET UG 2026 conducted by NTA.

• Appear and Qualify for NEET UG 2026: Register and appear for the NEET UG exam conducted by NTA.

• Register for Counselling: Register on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) portal or  BFUHS official after NEET results for Punjab state counselling.

• Document Verification and Choice Filling: Upload required documents, pay the counselling fee (if any), and fill choices (including GGSMCH as preferred).

• Seat Allotment: Participate in multiple rounds of online counselling. Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and choices.

• Report to College and Confirm Admission: If allotted AIMSR, download the allotment letter, pay admission fees, submit bond (service bond may apply for state quota), and report to the college for document verification and joining.
