Detailed Admission Process for Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), Hyderabad (MBBS). All seats (including Management & NRI) are allotted strictly through NEET UG rank and NEET PG ranks. No direct admission is possible.

1. Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Program

• Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General/EWS (40% for SC/ST/BC, 45% for PwD).

• NEET Qualification: Must qualify NEET-UG with the minimum cutoff percentile set by NTA (General: 50th, SC/ST/OBC: 40th, PwD: 45th).

• Domicile: Telangana candidates get preference in Competent Authority Quota.

2. Online Step-by-Step Admission Procedure 2026

Step 1: Appear and Qualify NEET-UG

Conducted by NTA. Download the scorecard and rank from the official NTA website.

Step 2: Online Registration for Counselling

• Visit the official KNRUHS counselling portal.

• Register online (usually opens in July after NEET results).

• Pay the registration & processing fee (non-refundable).

• Upload scanned copies of required documents (NEET scorecard, 10+2 marksheet, SSC certificate, study certificates, caste certificate, etc.).

Step 3: Certificate Verification

• Provisional merit list released after document verification.

• Candidates can raise objections if needed.

• Final merit list published based on NEET rank + category.

Step 4: Web Options Entry (Choice Filling)

• Log in and enter preferences for colleges and quotas.

• Submit options before the deadline (multiple rounds possible).

Step 5: Seat Allotment

• Allotment done in phases (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up, Stray Vacancy).

• Download allotment order.

Step 6: Reporting to College

• Report to AIMSR Hyderabad within the given time with all original documents.

• Pay the tuition fee + other charges.

• Complete admission formalities (medical fitness, bond if applicable, etc.).
