Asia Pacific Institute of Management admission criteria are entrance-based for both PGDM. For PGDM admission, candidates need to qualify CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT entrance exam. However, the final-year students can also apply for the courses. The final selection is based on a Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. The AIM also accepts direct admissions or admission via consultants like (Management quota/Company-sponsored quota).

Asia-Pacific Institute of Management is inviting application for admission to the MBA and M.Sc courses. For admission to the MBA course, any graduation degree holder will be eligible. Whereas, students with graduation degree in relevant subjects can apply for admission to the M.Sc course.
