Assumption College Kottayam Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Assumption College offers UG, PG, and PhD programmes. The major programs are BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, and MSW. The college takes merit-based admission.  Mostly, the seats are reserved for SC/ST, Disabled students, sports and cultural quota students. • BA: Students must have passed the 12th board. 
• B.Com: Students must have passed the 12th board with Commerce, Business, and Mathematics as the mandatory subjects.
• B.Sc: Students must have passed the 12th board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
• BFT/BFD: Students must have passed the 12th board. 
• MA: Students must have passed students must have passed a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject discipline. 
• M.Sc: Students must have passed a BSc or equivalent degree.
• M.Com: Students must have passed a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field. 
• PhD: Students must have passed a master’s degree in the relevant subject, and qualify for the research aptitude test and interview

Admission Process 2026:-

• Eligibility: Students must meet the eligibility criteria for the desired program. 
• Pre-registration: Students must fill out the online pre-registration form available on the college’s admission portal. 
• Application Fee: Pay the application fee of INR 300 for General candidates and INR 150 for SC/ST candidates. 
• Submission: Students must submit the required documents online.
• Merit List: The college will publish merit lists based on academic marks obtained in the 12th board. 
• Acceptance Letter: Shortlisted students will receive the admission letter and pay the academic fee.
