Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

The admission process for the MBBS program at Autonomous State Medical College (ASMC) Fatehpur is conducted through the national medical admission system based on the NEET-UG examination and centralized counselling.

Entrance Examination

• Candidates must qualify for the NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• Admission is strictly merit-based, and there is no direct or management quota admission.

Eligibility Requirements

• Candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board.

• Minimum marks required: 50% for General category and 40% for reserved categories in PCB subjects.

• Applicants must be at least 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year.

Counselling Process
Admission to the MBBS course is done through two counselling systems:

• All India Quota (AIQ) – 15% seats are filled through counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

• State Quota – 85% seats are filled through Uttar Pradesh NEET-UG counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow.

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment

• Qualified candidates must register for counselling online.

• Candidates select preferred colleges during choice filling.

• Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, reservation category, and seat availability.

Document Verification and Admission Confirmation

• Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college with required documents, such as NEET scorecard, 10th and 12th mark sheets, identity proof, category certificate (if applicable), and photographs.

• After verification, candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.
