Banaras Hindu College- BHU Varanasi Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Eligibility: UG 

They can enroll in BSc, BBA, BCom, B,Arch programs and many more. Applicants who have cleared their higher secondary education with minimum aggregate marks can apply for ug courses. Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Commerce,Science and Arts stream and subjects securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Age not to be more than 22 years. Admission procedure is fully online and based on the entrance test. 

Eligibility: PG 

Students seeking admission in postgraduate programs at BHU can apply for the New Academic session. Candidates must ensure they meet the Minimum Eligibility Criteria before applying. Minimum qualification required for admission is needed to pass bachelors degree from any recognised university with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Students appearing for their qualifying degree examination or awaiting results are eligible to appear for CUETPG. 

Note* Applicants must verify their eligibility for their chosen programs before appearing for CUET-PG. Admission will only be granted if all prescribed eligibility criteria are met. 

Admission Procedure: How to apply online? 

Eligible applicants can get admission in BHU. Read the prospectus carefully before filling out the application form. Visit the official portal and apply with valid documents. Admission procedures for undergraduate and postgraduate programs are mentioned below. 

Step 1. Visit the official page of Banaras Hindu University and search for courses which you want to apply for. https://www.bhu.ac.in/ 

Step 2. Click on ‘New Registration Link’ and fill the registration form with detailed information(email id or mobile number) 

Step 3. After successful registration, BHU will provided login ID via email or SMS on registered mobile number (username and password) 

Step 4. Login on the students portal with your login ID (keep your login Id safe)

Step 5. After login on the students portal, fill the application form and upload valid qualification documents (aadhar card, marksheet, photo etc.). 

Step 6. Upload all the “scanned documents” in application form carefully. 

Step 7. Submit your application form. University will verify details and uploaded documents. Step 8. After successful documents verification, students will be able to pay the application fee and program fee online (UPI, Debit card, Credit Card etc.) 

Step 9. Confirm your admission and download program fee receipt and acknowledgement receipt provided by the university.
