Bangalore Technological Institute Bangalore Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admissions are done mainly through KCET for government quota and through COMEDK for private seats. Direct admission is also available for management quota seats. Students should have passed 12th with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for All Offered Programs at Bangalore Technological Institute: 

For B.E / B.Tech Programs (4 Years): Pass in 10+2 (PUC / 12th) or equivalent examination. Must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Minimum 45% aggregate marks in the above subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC/Category-1 candidates). Must have a valid score in KCET or COMEDK (or JEE for some cases).

Admission Process at Bangalore Technological Institute

1. Check Eligibility: Pass 10+2 (PUC) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science. Minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
2. Appear for Entrance Exam: For Government Quota Appear in KCET. For Private Quota Appear in COMEDK.
3. Apply for Counselling: Register for KCET counselling (KEA) or COMEDK counselling as per your rank.
4. Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Fill your choices and get seat allotted in BTI Bangalore through counselling.
5. Management Quota Admission: (Direct) If you don’t get a seat through counselling, you can apply directly under Management Quota by contacting the college admission office.
6. Document Verification & Fee Payment: Visit the college with all original documents, pay the admission fee, and complete the admission formalities.
7. Reporting to College: Report to the college on the given date and start your classes.
