Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune – Admission Process & Eligibility Criteria

All admissions are strictly through NEET (UG/PG/SS) and MCC counselling. Management/NRI quota seats are also allotted only through MCC counselling. Candidates must fulfil the NMC eligibility guidelines.

MBBS (Undergraduate) Admission

MBBS Eligibility Criteria:

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

• Minimum aggregate marks in PCB: 50% for General/EWS, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, 45% for PwD candidates.

• Must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year.

• Must qualify NEET-UG with the required percentile (as per NMC guidelines).

Admission Process:

1. Appear and qualify in NEET-UG conducted by NTA.

2. Register for centralisedcentralised counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

3. Fill college preferences (Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College is a Deemed University, so seats are allotted through All India counselling).

4. Seat allotment based on NEET rank, category, and choices filled.

5. Report to the college with original documents and pay fees for confirmation.

Note: Admissions are purely on NEET merit. There is no separate university entrance test for MBBS.

PG (MD/MS/Diploma) Admission Process and Eligibility Criteria

MD/ MS Eligibility Criteria:

• Completed MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised college.

• Completed 1-year compulsory rotating internship.

• Minimum 50% marks in MBBS (relaxation as per category rules).

• Must qualify for NEET-PG.

Admission Process:

• Qualify NEET-PG.

• Participate in MCC PG counselling.

• Seat allotment based on NEET-PG rank.

Super Speciality (DM/MCh)

• Requires NEET-SS qualification + relevant PG degree.

• Counselling through MCC.
