BOSE-Cuttack has a dedicated Training & Placement Cell (TPC) that works effortlessly to establish a bridge between the students and the industry. The placement cell was established to enhance employability. It focuses on campus recruitment drives, facilitates internships, and provides career guidance to diploma students across multiple engineering branches. The TPC is typically headed by a Placement Officer supported by faculty members from different departments and student representatives. 

Its Key Functions include conducting pre-placement training sessions, workshops, & session on resume building, interview skills, aptitude tests, group discussions and technical proficiency. It invites companies for on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives. It also arranges industrial visits, guest lectures, and internships to provide practical exposure to students. Additionally, it gives counselling to students on career options, higher studies or entrepreneurship. 

Moreover, the Training and Placement cell also participates in job fairs organised by the State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training (SCT&VT), Odisha. In the recent placement drive, the average package offered to students was INR 4.8 LPA, and the highest package offered was INR 8.5 LPA.
