Admission Process at Career Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital, Lucknow (CIMSH)

The college does not conduct any separate entrance exam, direct admission, or application form. All seats (MBBS & MD/MS) are filled only through centralised NEET-based counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG courses:- 

• MBBS: Passed 12th with minimum aggregate marks from any recognised board. 

• MBBS: Minimum 17 years of age, 10+2 with PCB (50% for General, 40% for reserved categories).

• MD/MS: Completed MBBS + 1-year internship + NEET-PG qualified.

For MBBS (150 seats)

1. Qualify NEET-UG Appear in NEET-UG and secure the minimum qualifying percentile (as per NMC/UP rules).

2. Register for UP NEET UG Counselling Visit the official counselling portal- Fill the online registration form, pay the registration fee, and upload required documents.

3. Document Verification Get your documents verified (online or at designated centres as per schedule).

4. Choice Filling & Locking Select CIMSH Lucknow as one of your preferences along with other colleges.

5. Seat Allotment Participate in multiple rounds (Round-1, Round-2, Mop-up, Stray Vacancy). Check allotment on the portal and download the allotment letter.

6. Reporting & Admission Report physically to the college within the given deadline with original documents and pay the tuition fee + other charges. Admission is confirmed only after verification and fee payment.
