Financial Support & Scholarships at Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences (CAIMS) does not offer many institution-specific scholarships. Students mainly benefit from Telangana State Government schemes.

Key Scholarships & Financial Aid:

• Telangana Fee Reimbursement Scheme Students admitted under Category A (Government/Convener Quota) from SC, ST, BC, EBC, Minority, and EWS categories can get full or partial tuition fee reimbursement (up to INR 60,000 per year). This is the most popular and widely available support.

• Post-Matric Scholarships. Eligible reserved category and economically weaker students can apply for monthly maintenance charges and other benefits through the Telangana e-Pass portal.

• Merit-cum-Means Scholarships Limited support is available for meritorious students from low-income families based on academic performance and family income.

• Internship Stipend All MBBS students receive a monthly stipend of approximately INR 20,000 – INR 25,000 during the compulsory one-year rotational internship at the attached teaching hospital (as per Telangana Government norms).

• Central Government Schemes Students can also apply for National Scholarship Portal (NSP) schemes and other central scholarships.

Important Note:

Students admitted under Category B (Management Quota) and Category C (NRI Quota) are not eligible for government fee reimbursement and have to pay full fees.
