City Engineering College Bangalore Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission into City Engineering College depends upon scores in KCET and COMEDK entrance test. The admission can also be made by Management quota. Prospective candidates must pass the 12th class with PCM in minimum marks stipulated by VTU.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E, MTech, MCA and MBA Programs

• For B.E programs, individuals must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with optional subjects. For the admission in BE, Students have to pass intermediate with minimum of 45% aggregate marks required (40% for SC/ST/OBC of Karnataka).

• For PG courses like M.Tech/MBA/MCA, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admission is through PGCET or GATE, depending on the course.

Online Admission Process at City Engineering College:

• College Selection During counselling, choose City Engineering College as your preferred college.
• Seat Allotment Check the allotment result on the official KCET or COMEDK portal. If allotted a seat, download the allotment letter.
• Document Verification & Fee Payment Visit the college campus on the given date with all original documents and pay the admission fees (as per quota).
• Management Quota / Direct Admission Students who want direct admission can contact the college admission office directly. Submit application form, marksheets, and pay the management quota fees.
