Department of Management Sciences- PUMBA Pune Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

At PUMBA, admission is based on entrance exam scores and on a merit basis. The Department offers MBA Pharma-Biotech, BBA (HFM), MBA (Executive), and PhD. It gives specialisation in Finance, Systems, Operations, Human Resources, International Business, and Marketing. The admissions are allotted by the CET CELL. Eligibility Criteria for Programs:- 

• For MBA admission, the students are required to get 50% in a bachelor’s degree, and 45% for the Reserved category students. The Maharashtra students are required to qualify for the MAH-CET entrance exam, and for Outside Maharashtra applicants, CAT or CMAT scores are applicable, with 2 years of work experience.
• For MBA Pharma-Biotech admission, the students are required to qualify ATMA entrance exam.
• For BBA admission, the students have to qualify for the Online Entrance Examination conducted by the Savitri Phule Pune University. Furthermore, the students need to have 45% aggregate marks in the 12th board.
• For PhD admission, the students Post Graduation degree with 50 % marks, and qualify in PET/CSIR-NET/GATE.

2026 Selection process at PUMBA:-

• Students have to register online from the official website of the Savitri Phule Pune University.
• The students are required to appear for the Entrance exams to qualify for admission. The selected entrance exams are (MAH-CET, OOE, ATMA).
• The admission is confirmed after the document verification and payment of the academic fee for the chosen programe.
• The documents required for verification are 10th & 12th Marksheet, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree passing certificate, Domicile Certificate, Nationality Certificate, Gap Certificate ( 100 Rs. Stamp Paper), Profile, Work Experience Certificate, and Salary Slip.
