Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University- DBUU Dehradun Admission Process
- Eligibility Criteria for BTech. Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices and have obtained at least 55% marks (50% in case of a candidate belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together from a recognised board/university.
- Eligibility Criteria for BCA:- The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in total, and also have Mathematics as a subject in the qualifying examination (with an additional bridge course for non-mathematics background students.
- Eligibility Criteria for MBA, MCA, MTech, Etc:- Passed a Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline. Obtained at least 55% marks
(50% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) In the qualifying Examination.
Admissions are primarily merit-based, considering marks in the qualifying examination. For certain programs, selection may involve:
- University-level entrance exam (if applicable).
- Personal interview or group discussion (especially for MBA, design, or journalism courses).
- Valid scores from national exams (e.g., JEE, NEET, CAT). Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling/document verification.
Document Verification and Admission Confirmation
After selection, candidates must appear for document verification at the university. Required documents typically include:
- Mark sheets and certificates of 10th, 12th, and graduation (as applicable).
- Entrance exam scorecard (if required).
- Transfer/migration certificate.
- Character certificate.
- Category certificate (for reservations/scholarships).
- Passport-size photographs.
- ID proof (Aadhaar, etc.). Confirm admission by paying the course fees within the stipulated time.

Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University- DBUU Dehradun Scholarships
The University offers a variety of scholarships such as merit based, domicile, category specific, and need based. These are primarily tuition fee waivers with applications that are considered at the time of admission.
Only one scholarship per student is valid and renewal of scholarships requires at least 75% attendance, no backlogs, and good academic performance.
