DGVC offers multiple scholarship/concession schemes, Government / State & National Scholarships via National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for eligible students under central-sector scholarship schemes. State-level scholarships: for communities/reserved categories (e.g. SC / ST / BC / MBC / DNC / other backward or disadvantaged classes), in line with government welfare schemes. Post-matric / free-education scholarships (for eligible students from reserved / economically weaker backgrounds) ā including renewals year-on-year.
Merit-based Scholarships are awarded to students with strong academic performance (e.g. high marks / good semester results). In the past / older endowment-based scholarships (for certain programmes/subjects) for students meeting specified academic criteria (for example, in B.Sc. Mathematics with certain language or marks conditions).
Endowment & Donor Scholarships / Fee-Concession Scholarships DGVC has historically had several endowment-based scholarships/funds instituted by donors/trusts/individuals for deserving students (especially in certain courses/streams). These may support financially weaker students, or students from particular communities (depending on the endowmentās criteria).
Sports / Special Category / Welfare Scholarships & Concessions for economically weaker sections, differently-abled students, and sports-achievers: the college provides concessions, scholarships or fee waivers, plus support such as free kits or other assistance. Special support (coaching, exam-accessibility) is also reportedly offered to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, differently-abled, etc.
