Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital has a vast number of students passing each year. The College has a Training and Placement Cell which conducts various programmes and provides guidance for a vast number of placement-related student activities. PG-NEET Guidance Programme focuses on giving topic-wise intensive training for MCQ solving and subject understanding of students by dedicated faculty members. 

Activities like repeated tests conducted to solve MCQs build confidence among students who will face PG-NEET. Other activities conducted by the cell are lectures by guest faculty to help students choose their further career options wisely and how to choose their college for PG in a mindful way.

Apart from this, in association with the Alumni department, the cell conducts online sessions and meetings with our own past alumni who have cleared international exams like USMLE and PLAB. They give one-to-one guidance on how to study, time management, how to apply and how to pursue the examinations worldwide till the matching of their profile to the hospitals and medical schools they want to continue their career with. There is also a team of dedicated alumni to help students who want placement overseas.
