Dr. Moopens Medical College Wayanad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission Process for Dr. Moopen’s Medical College, Wayanad (for MBBS 2026-27): All seats (including Management & NRI) are allotted strictly through NEET UG rank + Kerala CEE counselling. No direct admission is possible.

Eligibility Criteria: Completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English. Minimum 50% marks in PCB (40% for reserved categories). Minimum 17 years as on 31st December 2026.

Step-by-Step Admission Process:

1. Appear and Qualify NEET UG Candidates must appear for NEET UG 2026 and secure the minimum qualifying percentile (50th for General, 40th for SC/ST/OBC as per NMC norms).

2. Register for Counselling: State Quota (Govt. Merit Seats) Register online on the official CEE Kerala portal.

3. Management / NRI Quota: Also register through the same Kerala CEE portal.

4. All India Quota seats (if any) are handled through MCC counselling, but most seats in this college are filled via Kerala state counselling.

5. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: Fill choices of colleges and quotas during the counselling rounds. Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and quota (State Merit / Management / NRI).

6. Document Verification: Report to the allotted college or verification centre with original documents for verification.

7. Pay Fees and Confirm Admission: Pay the required tuition fee + other charges within the stipulated time to confirm the seat. Join the college and complete the admission formalities.
   

Seat Distribution (150 MBBS Seats):

• State Merit / Govt. Quota: 50% seats (filled through Kerala CEE merit list with reservations)

• Management Quota: 30-35% seats (filled on NEET merit basis)

• NRI Quota: 15% seats (for NRI/OCI candidates with valid documents)
