Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India- EDII Ahmedabad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission to EDII’s flagship PGDM programs is based on a combination of national-level test scores and the institute-specific selection process.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Valid score in national-level management entrance tests (CAT/MAT/XAT, etc.)

• Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test (EAT) – Conducted by EDII to assess entrepreneurial potential, creativity, and motivation

• Personal Interview (PI) – Evaluates communication skills, business awareness, and entrepreneurial mindset

• Students must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum required percentage from a recognised university board.

Admission Process:

1. Eligibility Check - Bachelor’s degree with a minimum required percentage (usually 50%).

2. Fill Online Application - Submit the application on the official portal with the application fee.

3. Appear for Entrance Tests - Valid score in CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA (where applicable).

4. Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test (EAT) - The Institute conducts its own EAT to assess entrepreneurial potential.

5. Personal Interview (PI) - Shortlisted candidates appear for PI (online/offline).

6. Final Selection - Merit list prepared based on EAT + PI + academic record + entrance score.

7. Fee Payment & Document Verification - Pay initial fees and complete admission formalities.

8. Join the Program - Orientation and classes usually begin in July/August.
