Scholarships at Global Group of Institutions, Jabalpur, are nothing special, mostly standard MP government stuff and a few small college-level concessions. Here's the actual picture from the students.
Government Scholarships (the real money savers)
- SC/ST/OBC students from MP get Post-Matric Scholarship through MahaDBT/MP portal covers almost full tuition + some maintenance allowance if family income is low.
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): up to INR 8 lakh family income, get tuition waiver or reimbursement.
- TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) seats 5% seats in B.Tech/MBA students who have zero tuition fee (only exam/hostel extra). Students need a good JEE/CMAT rank + income INR 8 lakh. Very limited, goes in first counseling rounds.
- Minority scholarship (Muslim/Christian/Sikh): partial reimbursement if you apply on time.
College-Level / Management Quota Help
- If students have 85%+ in 12th (for B.Tech) or good CMAT percentile (for MBA), they sometimes give INR 10,000–30,000 off in the first year as “merit concession”. Not guaranteed depends on how many seats are left and how much paying.
- Girls get small extra concession (INR 5,000–15,000) in some years.
- Sibling concession: if brother/sister already studying there, INR 10,000 off possible.
