Government Law College Admission Process

Eligibility criteria for the BA LL.B require candidates to have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum of 45% marks for general category and 40% for reserved category students.

For LL.B., candidates must hold bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. General category applicants must have secured at least 45% marks in their graduation, while reserved category candidates need a minimum of 40%. 

For LL.M program it requires candidates to complete LL.B degree either 3-year or 5-year from a recognized institution. Applicants must meet the minimum percentage requirement set by the college or university, which is generally around 50% for the general category with relaxations for reserved categories. 

Steps to apply, 

  • Step 1: Visit official admission portal or entrance exam website and complete online registration using your basic details.
  • Step 2: Fill out application form by entering your personal information, academic qualifications, and preferred course.
  • Step 3: Upload required documents, including your photograph, signature, and relevant certificates, in prescribed format.
  • Step 4: Pay application fee online through net banking, UPI, debit card, or credit card.
  • Step 5: Submit application form and download or print confirmation page for future reference.
  • Step 6: Appear for required entrance exam (if applicable) and check results once declared.
  • Step 7: Participate in counselling or centralized admission process for seat allotment and complete final document verification to secure admission.
