Government Medical College Barmer Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission criteria are based on the entrance examination and are fully online. Applicants can apply through the official website at their own pace. Admission is 100% through NEET-UG 2026 only. Eligibility Criteria for MBBS programs (Undergraduate) 

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.

• Minimum 50% in PCB for General/EWS, 40% for SC/ST/OBC.

• Age minimum 17 years as of 31 December 2026.

Seat Break-up

• 15 seats – All India Quota (AIQ)

• 85 seats – Rajasthan State Quota

How to Get Admission? 

• Register and appear for NEET-UG 2026, which is conducted by the NTA.

• Qualify NEET and get a valid All India Rank.

• AIQ seats (15%): Register on MCC website for All India counselling.

• State Quota seats (85%): Register on Rajasthan NEET-UG counselling portal (conducted by Office of the Chairman, NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counselling Board, SMS Medical College, Jaipur).

• Do document verification, fill choices, and participate in multiple rounds (Round 1, Round 2, mop-up, and stray vacancy).

• If allotted GMC Barmer, download allotment letter, report to the college with all original documents within the given date, pay first-year fees, and complete admission.

• Rajasthan domicile certificate (mandatory for state quota)
