Government Medical College Sangli Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Government Medical College Miraj follows the standard Maharashtra government medical admission rules.

Everything runs through national-level NEET exams and centralised counselling. No direct or management seats, pure merit only. Here’s the complete step-by-step process (current as of 2026 cycle):

Eligibility Criteria: Need a minimum 50% in 12th PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS), age 17+ by 31 Dec of admission year, and Maharashtra domicile for most state seats.

MBBS (200 seats)

1. Appear and qualify NEET-UG, 

2. 15% All India Quota seats → Register on NEET result, fill choices (GMC Miraj is an option), go through MCC rounds (Round 1, 2, mop-up, stray).

3. 85% State Quota seats → 

4. Register on (Maharashtra State CET Cell), pay counselling fee, upload scanned documents, 

5. get document verification done (online/offline as notified), 

6. fill & lock college choices, wait for CAP rounds.

7. Once you get GMC Miraj allotment.

8. Download letter, report to the college within the given deadline (usually 2–3 days) with all original documents + 4–5 passport photos + medical fitness certificate.

9. Pay annual fee.
