Gulzar Group of Institutes, Punjab Ludhiana Scholarships: Eligibility & Scholarship Amount 2026

These are institutional scholarships provided by GGI that students may avail themselves of state or central government scholarships, if eligible, for example, under various welfare or post-matric schemes. Eligibility Factors depend on criteria such as academic performance 90% in class 12, for merit scholarship, Family circumstances (e.g. fatherless child, teacher’s ward, defence personnel’s child/spouse), Sporting achievements (state-level or above for sports quota), having a sibling in GGI (for sibling scholarship)

Types of Scholarships 

• Single Girl Child- 15% fee waiver for first semester. 
• Fatherless Child- 15% fee waiver (for students who have lost their father).
• Sibling Scholarship- 15% fee waiver when more than one sibling studies at GGI.
• Merit Scholarship- 15% fee waiver for students scoring above 90% in 10+2. 
• Armed Forces Educational Welfare Scheme- 15% fee waiver for wards/spouses of defence personnel (for first semester). 
• Sports Quota- 15% fee waiver (for students with state-level or above achievements) in first semester. 
• Teacher’s Ward Concession- 15% waiver for wards of teachers (in recognised schools/colleges/universities). 

Note: The fee-waiver amount is generally 15% (for semester/first semester, depending on scheme).
