M.Tech:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering/technology discipline.
Minimum marks: 50% for general, 45% for reserved categories.
Admission is generally through a GATE score or institute-level merit.
MBA:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.
Admission based on WBJEMAT / CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA scores or merit-based.
MCA:
Bachelor’s degree with mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
Admission based on JECA / WBJEMAT scores or institute-level merit.
Admission Process
1. Registration
For state quota: Register through the WBJEE / JECA / WBJEMAT portal for CAP counselling.
For management quota: Apply directly via HIT Haldia’s online admission portal or through the institute office.
2. Entrance Exam
Appear for WBJEE (B.Tech), JELET (lateral entry), GATE (M.Tech), WBJEMAT/CAT/MAT (MBA/MCA) as applicable.
Valid national-level exam scores (JEE Main, GATE, etc.) are accepted for admission under specific quotas.
