Admission to HBT Medical College, Mumbai is strictly based on NEET-UG score, followed by centralized counselling conducted by Maharashtra CET Cell for state quota and MCC for All India Quota. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, securing minimum 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) and must be at least 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year.
Eligibility Criteria (MBBS)
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
Minimum marks required: 50% aggregate in PCB for General category; 40% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories.
The candidate must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the admission year.
Must qualify the NEET-UG exam as per the cutoff set by NMC and the Government of Maharashtra.
Admission Process at HBT Medical College
Admission to the MBBS course (200 seats) is strictly based on NEET-UG score and merit rank.
Candidates must register and participate in the centralised counselling:
15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats through MCC (Medical Counselling Committee).
85% State Quota seats through Maharashtra State CET Cell.
Seat allotment is done as per NEET rank, category, domicile rules, and seat availability.
After allotment, candidates must report to the college with all original documents for verification, pay the fees, and complete the admission formalities.
Selected candidates are required to sign a service bond (usually 1 year compulsory service in Maharashtra Government hospitals after internship).
