Yes, eligible SC/ST/OBC/EWS students can avail MahaDBT scholarships, tuition fee waiver, and freeship schemes offered by the Maharashtra Government and BMC.


MBBS interns receive a monthly stipend of approximately INR 11,000 to INR 18,000 during the compulsory one-year internship.


Yes, students usually have to sign a 1-year service bond in Maharashtra government hospitals. Penalty for breaking the bond is around INR 10 lakh.


The annual tuition fee for MBBS is approximately INR 1.34 lakh to INR 1.58 lakh for the General category (much lower for reserved categories). Hostel fees are nominal.

Admission is strictly based on NEET-UG score through centralized counselling – 15% seats via All India Quota (MCC) and 85% seats via Maharashtra State CET Cell.


Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (minimum 50% for General, 40% for reserved categories) and must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the admission year. Qualifying NEET-UG is mandatory.


The college has an intake of 200 seats for the MBBS course.


The medical college was established in 2015, while the attached Dr. R.N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital was established in 1969.
