B.SC/ B.Tech: Passed (or appearing in) Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)

M.Tech: BE/B.Tech or equivalent + valid GATE score in relevant paper (some programs accept 70% GATE + interview/written test)

M.Des: Valid CEED score

Integrated PhD: BSc or equivalent + JAM or other qualifiers

M.Mgt (Management Studies): BE/B.Tech + CAT/GATE/GMAT

Selection Criteria: Entrance exams + interview/counselling

Accepted Exams: JEE Advanced, IISER Aptitude Test, GATE, JAM, CEED, NET/JRF

How to Apply Online:

• Go to the IISc Admissions website and read all details about programs, eligibility, deadlines, and fees carefully.
• Visit the online application portal.
• Register as a new user by entering your full name, date of birth, a valid email, and a mobile number.
• Verify your email (click the link sent to activate your account).
• Log in to the portal with your email and password.
• Start the application, select your program(s), and fill in all required details like personal info, academic qualifications, and entrance exam details (you can update scores later if results are pending).
• Upload scanned documents such as photo, signature, marksheets, category certificate (if applicable), and any other required files.
• Pay the application fee online.
• Review the form carefully, then submit it (you will get a confirmation or application number).
• Save or download the submitted form for records.
• Log back in later if needed to update entrance exam results (like GATE/JAM scores) using the dashboard option.
• Check your portal dashboard and email regularly for shortlisting, interview calls, offers, or next instructions (accept offer and complete fees/verification if selected).
