IIT Bhilai Institute offers scholarships to support and encourage its students’ education. It offers various categories of scholarships to both its UG and PG students. To enjoy scholarship facilities, students must fulfill its eligibility criteria as set by the institute.

Scholarships	Eligibility Criteria
Institute SC/ST Scholarships	All undergraduate students in SC and ST categories are included. Free messing and boarding (to the extent collected) and pocket money of Rs. 250/- p.m. is given. Parental income must not exceed INR 4.5 Lakhs per annum. A minimum CGPA of 6.0 is required to be maintained to avail of the benefits of the scholarship
Merit Cum Means Scholarships	Available only to UG students in UR and OBC categories. Up to 25% of the students are proposed for grant of awards. Parental income not to exceed INR 5 Lakhs for UR Students and Rs. 6 Lakhs for OBC Students Minimum CGPA of 6.0 must be maintained till graduation to avail the benefits of the scholarship
