IIT Dharwad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

For admission in the UG program at IIT Dharwad, applicants must have cleared their 10th and 12th with aggregate 75% marks in relevant subjects from recognised educational boards. 

For admission in the PG Programs, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with 60% minimum marks in related fields from a recognised board of University.

• They are also required to clear National level entrance exams which are JEE Advanced, GATE, JEE Main, and IIT JAM, depending on the courses.

Selection Criteria: Shortlisted students will be selected by counselling/personal interviews. B.Tech applicants have to register for JoSAA Counselling.

• Go to the official website of required entrance exams like JEE Advanced/Main, IIT JAM, GATE.
• Register yourself by mentioning all required details. An application number and password will be created.
• In the next step, in with the credentials to fill out the application form.
• Enter correct personal information and academic details.
• Upload scanned images of the photograph, signature and other required documents.
• Pay the application fee and submit your application form.
