IIT ISM Dhanbad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

• To apply for admission at IIT Dhanbad, it is mandatory to fulfill eligibility criteria. 
• For the UG programme (B.Tech), applicants must have cleared class 10th and 12th with aggregate 75% marks in related subjects from recognised educational boards. 
• For the PG Programmes, applicants must have a 3 year Bachelor’s degree with 50% minimum marks in related fields from a recognised board of University.
• Required Entrance Exam: JEE Advanced, GATE, IIT JAM/ UGC NET
• Selection Criteria: Shortlisted students will have to attend counselling/personal interviews. B.Tech applicants have to register for JoSAA Counselling and MBA students have to register for COAP Counselling.

Step to Apply:

• Go to the official website of JEE Advanced/ JAM/ COAP.
• Register yourself by providing necessary details. An application number and password will be created.
• Now log in with the credentials to fill out the application form.
• Enter personal, academic, and other details.
• Upload scanned images of the photograph, signature and other required documents.
• Pay the application fee and submit your application form.
