IIT Admission Process
To get admissions in IIT Jammu, students are required to fulfill eligibility criteria which differs depending on the course level and specialisations:
- For UG Programmes: Students must be 10+2 passed with minimum aggregate marks to be 75% in required subjects.
- For PG Programmes: Students must hold a Bachelor's degree in a required field with minimum secured marks to be 60%.
- For Ph.D: Students should hold a Master’s degree in the required field.
- Entrance Marks Accepted: JEE Advanced, GATE, IIT JAM, UGC NET
- Selection criteria: Students will be selected through Counselling and Written Test/Personal Interview.
Procedure to Apply:
- Visit the official website of IIT Jammu and register by entering the candidate’s name, email ID, and mobile number.
- After successful registration, an enrollment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
- Fill out the application form with all required details.
- Pay the application fee and submit your form. Wait for further updates from University.
For the B.Tech course, students have to first register on the JEE Advanced website with all correct details, upload documents and pay required fees.
