IIT Placement Overview
IIT Mandi has a Career and Placement Cell (CnP Cell) which helps students with their career. It does so through two ways. First, by spreading awareness among students by organizing career & guidance sessions and workshops. Secondly, it connects the institute with the industry and maintains strong connections with them. The CnP cell organizes campus internships and placement drives every year for students in which companies from various domains participate and recruit students.
The highest package offered during placement drive at the Institute was INR 65 LPA and the average package offered was INR 25.2 LPA. More than 190 companies participated in its placement drives. Some of the top recruiters are Google, Adobe, AMD, Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant, Bluestar, Dunzo, Chegg, HDFC, LinkedIn, Cognizant, and many more.
Scholarships:
Scholarships are provided to help students financially. IIT Mandi offers scholarships for its students on the basis of merit and their category. The institute offers scholarships for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. It is required to fulfill some conditions at the time if applying for these scholarships.
